With the pivot back to on-campus teaching, many students find themselves in an unfamiliar learning environment: lecture theatre. This can result low rates of participation lectures, especially with a diverse student demographic, including English as Additional Language students. exclusion from for these students, well feeling nervous about participating format. case study looked at using education technology Vevox elicit was used embed multiple tasks into series lectures cohort third-year Engineering found be effective eliciting high levels participation, although some had higher than others.
